Last week, Rawley and I drove (yes, drove) from Normal, IL to Phoenix, AZ for an extended working vacation. While there, it was my great honor to make portraits and editorial photos for Matt Resnik’s fledgling business, SMILE Biscotti, at the request of his amazing mother and publicist, Denise.
I met Denise while working at SARRC in my former public policy career, and it was so wonderful to catch up with her and see how Matt has matured and flourished these past few years. Matt makes delicious Biscotti – and if you’d like to support their endeavors, please place an order on his website!
Matt now has a teammate, Eric! One year in business, and already a team of two. Amazing.
I am so happy for, and proud of, Matt! To learn more about organizations in the Phoenix area working to advance independent living and employment opportunities for adults with autism, please visit the resources page of Matt’s website.
Thank you, Matt, Eric, and Denise for the opportunity to reconnect and contribute to the growth of your delicious business!
P.S. A note to my photographer readers – for this shoot, I set up my SB900 in a 24″ sq. softbox on a Cheetah light stand, with wireless transceiver triggers. Great mobile option for a crowded, working space like a kitchen! I shot with my 70-200 f/2.8 so I could stay on the other side of the bar, and out of their work space, as much as possible.
