Family Portraits at Chesapeake Tulips (Oklahoma City Portrait Photographer)

This is Rachel…one of the spunky students I had the pleasure of meeting at Keystone Adventure School and Farm. Her parents asked me to make some portraits to celebrate her birthday, and we wove in her dad’s Dutch heritage by shooting around the Chesapeake Energy spring tulip display in NW OKC.

Such a fun family, and such a beautiful location! I am just in love with all of the color. And Rachel is a delight…so much energy and spirit.

They were up for anything…I think I wore them out but we had so much fun. 🙂 And the best shots are usually the ones towards the end of a session…when everyone just relaxes and starts to play.

Love the emotion in these! I can picture Rachel in a few years as a very striking young woman.

But for now, she still exudes a whimsical and childlike spirit!

Happy (late) birthday, Rachel! And thank you for the opportunity to photograph your family. Another big thank you to Chesapeake for creating and allowing members of your community to utilize these beautiful gardens.

About Holly Baumann Photography

I am Holly Baumann Ambuehl, a commercial and portrait photographer based in Central Illinois. My blog posts feature client work, but I just love to write, so I also write about owning a business, food and drink, travel, and my personal life! I am always honored when clients trust me to capture their vision, and equally so when my readers converse with me about what I've photographed or expressed here. I hope we'll have an opportunity to collaborate professionally and/or become friends. I'd love to hear what you think! - Holly
