Our 2011 Holiday Card

Photography: Holly Baumann Ambuehl / Design: 4108 Designs

I wasn’t sure we could top last year’s card, but I think we’ve done it! We did a single mailer this year for all friends, family, and business contacts, including clients that received holiday gifts, SMUG guest speakers, job leads, photographers that I assisted on-locationad agencies, and local venues (etc.). A big thank you tomy friend Chris at 4108 Designs for more great work!

Nathan helped me brainstorm the ideas for this year’s card, and we set up our self-portrait “studio” in our backyard with my tripod and timer. The out-takes from this shoot are hilarious…our dog was so confused – he was particularly concerned during the re-enactment of the quakanado. 🙂  (If you are equally confused, read up on Tebowing, the Oklahoma Quakanado, and adopting Eiger. And thanks to my friend Kellie for the OK Wind shot during her visit here earlier this year.)

Wishing you a holiday season filled with love and joy! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

About Holly Baumann Photography

I am Holly Baumann Ambuehl, a commercial and portrait photographer based in Central Illinois. My blog posts feature client work, but I just love to write, so I also write about owning a business, food and drink, travel, and my personal life! I am always honored when clients trust me to capture their vision, and equally so when my readers converse with me about what I've photographed or expressed here. I hope we'll have an opportunity to collaborate professionally and/or become friends. I'd love to hear what you think! - Holly

  1. That is a really awesome card!!! We love it! So glad that adopting your dog was one of the highlights of your year. It really made our day to see this! Have a Merry Christmas–give Eiger a hug for us!
