Last night, the OKC SMUG met at my house again, which we haven’t done since our first two meetings! This time, we welcomed Robert Trawick of Trawick Images as our guest speaker. Robert led us through the basics of color management, in-camera, on-screen, and in post-production. His Color-Management Tutorial slides (and other resources) are available to Members on our Meetup page!
While we listened to Robert, we nibbled on a mini-Thanksgiving feast of ham, turkey, apple cidar, dried cranberries, and pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin pie.
I asked Robert to cover this topic because I knew he was an expert on it, based on discussions we’ve had on a (closed) Facebook Group we both belong to for Oklahoma Professional Photographers. Color Management is an area of personal growth for me; I need to learn to use calibration equipment and color reference and white-balance cards on-location to make my deliverables even better.
Thank you, Robert, for so much good, specific information, and for doing it all out of the goodness of your heart. And thanks to everyone that attended for eating the food so I don’t have to, and for being so nice to Eiger. 🙂 Til next time!
