Get ready for some Gap-Baby worthy style. Seriously. These kids are gorgeous! This week I had my second portrait session with Marissa and McKenna, but this time, we added their almost-three-year old fraternal twin brothers, Ben and Alex. As you’ll see, the two of them pretty much had a stick(s) or a feather in hand at all times. Marissa, at five years, is already a stunner:
Alex is feisty and like most three year old boys, wasn’t particularly fond of posing for portraits. 🙂 So we just went with it, and captured his ALL-boy-always-in-motion MO. Love.
Here’s classically handsome Ben. Can you say that about a three year old? I’m not sure, but it’s true! Look:
Look, a bug! (For which, I prefer zoom lenses.)
If you ask me, the shot above is the best kind of photo. But, we did try to get at least one portrait with everyone looking at the camera, without sticks or feathers blocking faces, without pouting, crying, or running away. 🙂 Marissa did her best big sister hand squeezes to keep the boys in place!
McKenna, now about 15 months old, joined the fun after her nap. Her onesie said “Born to Sparkle.” Indeed! 🙂 She loved the wind, which did fun things to one of her feathery hairbows.
A couple more favorites from the day:
And despite her protests, I managed to squeeze Monica (mom) into at least a few photos. Here’s a sweet moment of Alex offering her some spring flowers. And Marissa found some for me! Thank you!
Such a fun portrait session. It always means a lot to me when I am invited for a second time to capture a family’s special moments. Thank you for the opportunity, Monica. And thank you to Marissa for the big hug when I left. Such a sweet family.
Enjoy the memories! Happy Easter!
