On Sunday I met the Keeblers at Joe’s Farm Grill in Chandler. I would like to nominate Justine and Keith for the Most Energetic Parents in the World Award. What takes more energy than keeping up with two budding athlete toddler boys? I absolutely adore this family and it’s been so fun to see the boys grow up. I photographed Jake when he was a newborn, back in my film days! We had a blast, despite the lurking dangers:
To get photos of these kiddos that weren’t a complete blur, I spent a couple hours crawling, running, and climbing – and keep the camera settings on a fast shutter speed! 
It was a gorgeous evening; the light was beautiful, and what more can a photographer ask for besides great Arizona weather at sunset to capture eyes like this?

Getting family shots was somewhat of a challenge with so many other more interesting things to do!

I love the energy in these photos. Sometimes the ones that “don’t turn out” are the best ones after all.

Justine and Keith – thanks for your friendship and for the privilege of capturing these moments with you. Soon all the chubby toddler-ness will morph into lean, mean, athleticism, and I look forward to cheering the boys on in the NFL or wherever they end up. I hope these photos are ones you’ll cherish in the years to come.
